Floral Expressions and Gifts To Hold Grand Opening

OSWEGO- The Oswego Economic Development Corporation announced today that Floral Expressions and Gifts, Inc. will hold the grand opening for its new downtown Oswego store the weekend of August 6-8.  The Oswego Chamber of Commerce is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony on August 6 at 4:30 p.m.

“This is our ninth year in business in this community and we are proud to have replanted our roots’ in historic downtown Oswego” said Owner Terri Platt.

Floral Expressions and Gifts offers a large variety of floral arrangements, including fresh flowers and plants.  The store features a new wedding studio, which provides professional wedding coordination services, and has a full line of wedding accessories.   Floral Expressions also carries gift selections for all occasions, such as jewelry, purses, custom dyed shoes, broaches, unity candles, headpieces, veils, and gift baskets.

“What a great addition to our downtown!” said Michael Cassa, executive director of the OEDC.  “Terri and her team have done a wonderful job remodeling the store.”

Floral Expressions and Gifts is located at 67 S. Main Street, and is open Monday- Friday, 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 9:30 a.m.-3:00 p.m.  The store will be open until 9:00 on Thursday, August 6, for the grand opening.
