IHOP Opens at Oswego Commons

OSWEGO- The Oswego Economic Development Corporation announced today that International House of Pancakes has opened a new restaurant in the Oswego Commons shopping center. IHOP is located in the newly remodeled 4,441 sq. ft. building at 2850 Route 34. The ribbon cutting for the restaurant will be held on April 29, 2009 at 9:00 a.m.

“We are excited about our new IHOP location in Oswego” said Keith Appelhans, Director of Operations for IHOP. “This is a family-friendly community, and we look forward to serving Oswego-area families for years to come.”

International House of Pancakes features an extensive breakfast, lunch and dinner menu. The Glendale, CA-based company was founded in 1958, and has more than 1400 locations in North America. Robbie Estanislao is the General Manager of the Oswego IHOP, which will be open 24 hours a day. The Oswego location has 75 employees.

“In recent surveys conducted by our office, many residents named IHOP as a restaurant they would like to see in town” said Michael Cassa, OEDC Executive Director. “IHOP will be a great addition to the ever-growing restaurant line up on Route 34.”
